CREATING PR CAMPAIGNS THAT DELIVER SUCCESSFUL RESULTS.

we go ABOVE AND BEYOND CLIENT EXPECTATIONS.

Arriba! has developed a reputation for consistently delivering successful PR campaigns for individuals and business for more than 15 years.

During 2020, we have been helping our ongoing and new clients navigate through the challenges of C
ovid 19 by  consistently achieving outstanding coverage across a range of national, local and community media outlets.

Every business has a story to tell, it's how you go about telling that story. Here are just some examples:

vivace espresso

Vivace Espresso is a 100% kiwi owned and operated business, supplying high quality coffee to hundreds of cafes, hotels and restaurants nationwide.

Arriba has been helping Vivace Espresso get brand awareness and profile in all forms of media over the past year. It goes without saying 2020 has been a turbulent year for the hospitality industry with every single operator affected in New Zealand. Arriba saw this as an opportunity to give the industry a voice and at the same time build up strong PR for Vivace Espresso across the country. We secured media coverage across national broadcasters, major metropolitan newspapers, digital and industry media.

“Invest in PR before you open. Don’t sit back and wait for people to turn up. Remind people you are still about; don’t let them forget who you are and what you stand for in the industry. I started in the hospitality trade right at the dark old days of the 1987 crash and the most important thing driven into us was to advertise and when diners were at the premises we had to excel in customer service because we wanted to make it an experience for them and have them back again.” Paul Baker, GM, Vivace Espresso.

After months of building up PR to promote the launch of Otaki Yard family market in March 2020, our client was forced to postpone its plans to open as the rest of the country went into lockdown. Not to be deterred, as soon as we came out of lockdown, we hit the ground running and delivered amazing results for our client when the market officially launched in May.

In fact, the results exceeded our expectations with clear and consistent messaging focused on buying and supporting local which was picked up by local, regional and national news outlets including stuff, nzherald, TV3 (Newshub), local radio stations and papers.

We also introduced our client to a local entrepreneur who we had worked with previously to collaborate on the Light the Night event – the first illuminated steam train bringing passengers to a night market experience at the Yard. TV3 (Newshub) came out once again and the story ran on the 6 o’clock news as well as throughout the major metros.

NZ PORK

Arriba! developed an in-depth, proactive and tactical communications plan to raise awareness of the pig farming industry and was extremely successful in placing stories in a wide range of media, including industry, farming, tech, regional, community, consumer, FMCG, food and lifestyle outlets. We managed PR for the 100% NZ Bacon & Ham competition, developing and implementing a comprehensive trade and consumer relations programme. We also provided a range of communication services from crisis communications, internal communications, event management, stakeholder engagement and copywriting. Owner Rebecca Reed also helped manage, produce and host a series of educational videos on pig farming in New Zealand. This involved TV script writing, interviewing and hosting the video series, organising and liaising with film directors, camera crew and farmers. Arriba! facilitated the inclusion of these videos into the nationwide primary school and intermediate educational programme through its educational resource communications plan. Check them out!
